Hello I have an ten year old brother that has slight MR (mental retardation) He's up to par with the rest of the kids in his 4th grade class, when it comes to reading,writing ect. However,when it comes to multiplying he'll remember it one week then forget it another week, and as for speech he lacks giving details about something he sees,or sometimes he has difficulty putting a sentence together correctly. The school placed my brother in a speech class in first grade, but however I believe there's extra work needed to be done. Just wondering if anyone knows any good organizations in Burbank California or anywhere in the L.A. area that could help me and my younger brother thank you.
